Logline: After a morning run or a jog towards the sunset, we write about food we eat, restaurants we go to, and sharing it with the world — to show that we matter, even when society says we don’t. Join the ladies of the night working to make Manila safer for women through their advocacy for #GirlsGotThis.

People:

• JP/V shares the recipes as well as the trials and tribulations of the Viola Family Initiative opening restaurants and hotels for Hilton, Hyatt, and other property partners in the US and abroad. She embarks on a journey of healing and advocating against violence towards women — especially to those in the BPO community.

• ME/V is a Travel + Leisure executive that have helped Expedia, Reservations.com, AMEX Travel, and various global brands develop BPO and customer engagement teams for over 12 years in partnership with hospitality and airline clients. 365ph Managing Director Maro Estores • “I lost my dad at a very young age so I was sent to Manila to live with relatives due to my own family’s financial hardship. From elementary through college, I was always a working student whether in a wet market or in retail just to pay for my tuition and board. It was extremely hard, many a time I barely survived. Our work today is centered on the purpose of creating safety nets for young students going through what too many of us had to overcome.”
